This city in the northwest within the state of Washington also offers several amateur teams along with sports teams on a college level. All sports teams in the town make Seattle a beautiful and prestigious place to live.

This is a professional football team that participates in the NFL. The franchise was initially established back in 1974 and played its first match in 1976. The Century Field is where the group enjoys home matches, and the team colours include grey, green, and blue. Paul Allen is the owner of the Seattle Seahawks. The Seattle Seahawks is considered the only team within the NFL that is situated in the northwest. This is a professional soccer team that forms part of Major League Soccer. The franchise was initially established back in 2007 and made their debut in 2009. The team’s home matches are enjoyed at the Century Field stadium, and their colours are green and blue. The team has managed to win the National Championship a total of 6 times and are currently the defending champions of the cup since 2016. Adrian Hanauer owns the franchise, and Microsoft sponsors the team. The team’s biggest rivals are local, including Portland and Vancouver.

This team, along with the baseball team known as the Washington Nationals, have never been apart of the World Series. This is a professional women’s basketball team that forms part of the Women National Basketball Association. The franchise was initially established back in 1999 and made their debut in 2000. The Key Arena is the home turf for this women’s basketball team. The team has managed to play in the playoffs a total of 12 times and won in 2010 that saw the team attend the White House while Obama was still president. The team’s colours are yellow and green and are sponsored by Bing which is featured on their team kit.
